This is thanks to technologies such as cylinder deactivation, which reduces the engine workload and increases fuel economy. With electronic stability control, i-Activ traction control assistance, and the SkyActiv Drive 6-speed automatic transmission with optional manual shifting via Sport Mode, the CX-9 manages to combine many elements of sports vehicles with the quality and comfort of an executive luxury ride.
